Wilderness First Aid
This is an excellent 16 hour, 2 day course for those wanting to know how to take care of themselves in the backcountry or who need to re-certify a current Wilderness First Aid or Wilderness First Responder certification.

Wilderness Advanced First Aid
This 40 hour, 5 day course meets or exceeds many of the minimum certification requirements of the National Park Service, U.S. Forest Service and the BLM. For example, a 40 hour course with CPR is the minimum certification requirement to work as a guide in Big Bend National Park. We require all Far Flung guides to take this course before they start work.
Course Dates: May 17-21, 2010, January 10-14, 2011
